Alla säger ju att Matheo är så duktig på fotboll hel tiden. Jag vet inte var man lägger ribban för en 3 och ½-åring men jag har nu börjat förstå att han faktiskt kan ha talang. I dag när jag lämnade honom på dagis så kom rektorn fram och sa att Matheo var så duktig och undrade om vi hade kollat upp om vi inte kunde få in honom i någon fotbollsskola trots att han kanske inte har åldern inne. Kanske skulle ta om kolla upp det än en gång. Det kanske kan bli Milan Junior Camp ändå...

The eleventh edition of the Intesa Sanpaolo Milan Junior Camp finished
420 children from 42 countries around the world spent two unforgettable days of football and making new friends.

MILAN – Another season of the Milan Junior Camps came to an end. Between January and August 2010, in 42 countries all over the world, around 15,000 children participated in one of the 279 weeks full of football, sports and entertainment, organised by Milan for the youngest Rossoneri.
As in the past, the most talented children have been invited along with their families to the fun and friendly  tournament of the Intesa Sanpaolo Milan Junior Camp Day, spread over two years.  The new participating  countries  included Indonesia, Venezuela and Peru.
The first day of competition will see the youngsters ages 14-15  play to win the Intesa Sanpaolo tournament at the Vismara Sports Centre.
Meanwhile, the second day, on Sunday, 17 October, will be dedicated to Milan Junior Camps participants ages 9-10. The awards will be handed over by special guest, former Rossoneri forward Daniele Massaro.
On Saturday, all the participating children will be in the Youngsters Stand at  San Siro, along with their families to watch Milan play against Chievo. As in previous years, prior to the game the children will take to the field holding the flags of their respective home countries.
”The Intesa Sanpaolo Milan Junior Camp Day is an incomparable event, for participants and organisers alike. 420 children from all over the world come together in Milan to play together, to follow a dream and to do what they like the most” – said Laura Masi, the Marketing Director of Milan. ”On these occasions, we always rediscover the power of football to bring together children who don’t speak the same language and come from different cultures. For us, this is the most important aspect of the event.”
First with the Youngsters Project and now with the Milan Junior Camps, Milan has offered minors special activities, marked by the love for football. Milan’s project aimed at children involves around 150.000 children a year, from all over the world. Resulting in the Rossoneri being the most popular club with Italian children under the ages of 14. According to the data provided by GfK Eurisko, Milan have about 1.041.000 young fans in the peninsula.
